Lee Damon Adams
Lee Damon Adams, 85, passed away September 24, 2009 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born August 15, 1924 in Sipe Springs, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Thelma M. Adams; daughters: Dorain Hamilton of Del Rio and Sandra H. Flowers of Del Rio; sons: Steven L. Adams and his wife Peggy Lynne of Gainesville, TX and Stanley D. Adams and his wife Daphney of Sonora, TX; brother: Roy Adams of Brownwood, TX; Aunt: Martha Nell Northcutt of Stevensville, TX; eight grandchildren; six great-grand children and one due in January; two nephews and numerous other family members.
Lee retired from the USAF in July 1964 having served in WWII. He then was employed at Laughlin AFB and retired from Civil Service in 1972.
When anyone was asked about Lee, they stated “great man or pretty good old boy”!
