Emilia Rosas Barrientos
Emilia Rosas Barrientos, age 88, peacefully passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was born April 6, 1921.
Preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 72 years, Gregorio Barrientos.
Surviving family members include her sons: Pablo Barrientos of Dallas, Francisco Barrientos and wife Margarita of Del Rio, and Jesus Barrientos and wife Manuela also of Del Rio; daughters, Amparo Robles and hus. Alfredo of Gatesville, Tx and Maria Perez and hus. Pedro of San Antonio; sister, Berta Rodriguez and hus. Ruben of Fort Worth; Emilia is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The Barrientos family will be receiving relatives and friends this afternoon from 3 to 9 p.m. in the chapel. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
A chapel service is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
