Full-time nephrologist

Dr. Mohamed Shafiu, nephrologist, stands with Fresenius Medical Center nurses Luz Euresti and Hilda Escobedo at VVRMC. Shafiu, Del Rio’s first full-time nephrologist in several years, is contracted by the hospital to provide dialysis treatments for its patients.
