What: Del Rio ASA Fastpitch Girl Softball Registration
Who: Youth ages 8 and up
When: Saturdays in February, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Plaza del Sol Mall near IBC Bank
Fee: $45 for first child, $35 for each additional child; bring copy of birth certificate
Extra: Coaches are also sought for the league. Inquire at registration.

What: Registration for Val Verde Volleyball Club’s Spring Girls Season
When: Saturday, Feb. 27, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Plaza del Sol Mall’s Applebee’s entrance
Who: League is for girls in third through ninth grade

Who: Boys and girls ages 6 to 12
When: Registration ongoing; Meet scheduled for Feb. 27.

What: Del Rio Babe Ruth Prep League Try-Outs
When: Saturday, Feb. 27, 2 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 28, 2 p.m. Players must attend at least one of the two try-outs.
Who: For 13 year olds signed up for the league
Where: Roosevelt Park
Extra: Players who wish to play in the Babe Ruth Baseball League (ages 13 to 18) but who have not yet registered may do so at the try-outs. Registration fee includes $10 late fee.

Who: Businesses can purchase 4x8 full color sign to be displayed on fences at baseball fields.
