Maria Blanca Olivas, 75, passed away October 10, 2009 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born September 14, 1934 in Del Rio, Texas. She is survived by her Husband: Jose Cruz Olivas, children: Gerardo and his wife Patricia Olivas of Fort Worth, TX, Jose Angel Olivas of Del Rio, Adriana Olivas of Fort Worth, TX, Aleida Olivas Degrenia of AZ, Javier Olivas of Del Rio, Mario Olivas and his wife Martha of Del Rio, and Jose Aldo Olivas and his wife Shayna of Andrews, TX; sister: Romelia Chavarria of Del Rio; brothers: Nicolas Chavarria and his wife Maria Elena of Del Rio and Baldemar Chavarria and his wife Elsa of Del Rio; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Nicolas Arzola Chavarria and Presentacion Flores; sister: Enriqueta Zarco son: Fidencio Olivas and grandson: Nico Olivas. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by interment at San Felipe Cemetery and officiated by Father Jaime Rentería, MNM.
Pallbearers were Jose Aldo Olivas Jr., Richard Edward Olivas, Javier Olivas Jr., Javier Olivas Sr., Mario Olivas Jr., and Jose Angel Olivas Jr.
