Del Rio Rams football fans are getting some help from one San Antonio business this weekend.

For fans attending Friday night’s Class 5A, Division I Regional Semifinal game between the Rams and Clark Cougars, the Doubletree Hotel San Antonio Airport is offering discounted rooms through Sunday for Del Rio’s fans.

Rooms are available for $65 per night (not including taxes), but when calling to make a reservation you must mention the Del Rio Rams.

The hotel is located at 37 NE Loop 410 (at McCullough) in San Antonio. Interested persons can call 1-210-366-2424 to make a reservation.

In addition, fans are reminded that there will not be a spirit bus traveling to Friday’s game, so other travel arrangements should be made.

Kickoff for Friday’s game is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the Alamodome.

Today is the final day to purchase pre-sale tickets at the school district’s athletic office located in the Carl P. Guys Memorial Gymnasium at Del Rio High School. Pre-sale cost is $9 for adults, $3 for students. All seats are general admission.

Pre-sale tickets will be available until 3 p.m.

Tickets at the Alamodome will be $10 for all seats. There will also be a $10 parking fee assessed at the Alamodome, $25 fee for larger vehicles such as RVs, large passenger vans or buses. No parking passes will be sold in Del Rio.

Gates are scheduled to open at 7 p.m.

The only passes that will be accepted at the game will be those issued by the Texas High School Coaches Association or passes from District 29-5A. People with either of those passes should enter through gates 26 and 27.

In addition, tickets purchased for the Del Rio/Clark game can also be used to watch the two other playoff games taking place at the Alamodome earlier that day.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will play New Braufels at noon and Austin Westlake will face Harlingen at 4 p.m.

The winner of the Del Rio/Clark game will face the winner of the Westlake/Harlingen game next week in the Region IV finals.
