Catalina Urrabazo Hernandez
EL PASO – Our beloved mother and grandmother was the face of love, beauty, and dedication. Her love was evident to her family, friends, and students. In 1952 she began her teaching career and retired after 48 years of service. She earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Sul Ross University.
Catalina was born in Del Rio, Texas to the late Trinidad and Cesarita Urrabazo. They, along with her loving husband Hilario R. Hernandez; daughter, Corina Maria Gasca; and siblings Ignacio Urrabazo, Aurelia Urrabazo, and Amada Morua have embraced and welcomed her into everlasting life.
Left in keeping her love and memory alive is her devoted family, sons; Larry Hernandez and Jerry Hernandez, grandchildren; Champ Hernandez and Victoria Elisa Gasca, and sisters; Mary Adame, Belia Sigala and Hortencia De La Rosa.
