Early voting began today at the Val Verde County Courthouse for the Nov. 3 election.
Voters locally and throughout the state will decide on 11 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution.
Val Verde County Clerk Janie Ramon said Val Verde County residents who wish to cast an early ballot in the election may do so at the Val Verde County Courthouse, 400 Pecan St., from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 19 through Oct. 23 and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 26 through Oct. 30.
Ramon said Val Verde County residents who want to vote early can make the process easier and faster by bringing their voter registration cards with them when they go to vote.
Voters who do not have their voter registration cards with them should bring some form of picture identification, such as a driver's license, Ramon said.
