Rodolfo Rodriguez
Rodolfo Rodriguez, age 79, peacefully passed away early yesterday morning at his residence in Del Rio. Rodolfo was born in Del Rio to Maria and Elpidio Rodriguez on August 15, 1930.
Preceding him in death were his mom and dad; brothers, Raul Rodriguez and Danny Rodriguez; sisters, Maria Elena Gonzalez and Angelica Castillo; and grandmother, Loretta Patiño.
Rodolfo leaves behind his sons, Rudy Rodriguez, Jr. and Esequiel Rodriguez and wife Rita; daughter, Susana Navarr and husband, Antonio Tarango; brothers, Elpidio Rodriguez III and Efrain Rodriguez; sisters: Yolanda, Leticia, and Linda; Rodolfo is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The Rodriguez family will be receiving guests today from 4 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (time pending). Interment will follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be: Zeke Rodriguez, Josh Rodriguez, Raul Hereida, Jose Juan Hernandez, Jose Luis Escobedo Jr., and Adrian Escobedo.
