I used to like scary stories. The campfire-style scary stories making the hair in the back of your head stand up and sending chills down your spine. I guess liking these type of stories is a natural reaction, maybe a survival trait helping us humans learn from potentially dangerous situations and pushing us away from them.

Thursday night, I heard one of those stories, the only difference was that this story is not over yet, and for many going through it, it will not have a happy ending.
