Salvador G Del Toro, ”Sal”, age78, of Del Rio, TX was called by our Lord and Savior, Jesus

Christ, to enter his kingdom on June 7,2019. He passed away, with loving family by his side, at

devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Sal was a former plumber and business owner in Del Rio. Even after becoming disabled in

1990, he remained very active. Whether he was buying, fixing, or selling something, he was

always moving along. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He

always gave valuable advice, not only to his family, but to the many friends he encountered

over the years. He had many friends, who some have referred to him as a father figure of

sorts. He left an everlasting impression on many who have known him, even those that have

known him for a short period of time. To say he was loved and respected by many is an

understatement. He has without a doubt, left a legacy of knowledge and memories, which will

never be forgotten. Sal also had a green thumb and enjoyed caring for plants so in lieu of

flowers, plants would be greatly appreciated.
