NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The next viral country rap hit has millions dancing along to the "The Git Up" and its creator, Atlanta producer and artist Blanco Brown is finding a wide open audience after the success of "Old Town Road."

Brown, who is signed to a Nashville record label, has been mixing country and rap sounds for years, which he calls "trailer trap." Brown's song has shot to No. 1 on Billboard's Hot country songs chart in just five weeks as people have been posting their own versions of Brown's dance moves under the hashtag #GitUpChallenge.

Brown said that Lil Nas X's success this year with "Old Town Road" opened the door for artists like him that were mashing up the two genres to create something unique.
