Facing accusations of using pepper spray and a knife during a confrontation with a woman, a Del Rio man was arrested on July 7. Daniel Jimenez, 25, a resident of the 200 block of East Bowie Street, was arrested by Del Rio Police Department officers at 1:09 p.m.
A Fort Worth teen was recently arrested in Del Rio and charged with resisting arrest, after a report of a man walking around with no pants in south Del Rio. Anthony Zapata, 19, who has his place of residence located at Lincoln Avenue, in Fort Worth, Texas was arrested on July 3, shortly after 10 p.m.
Two Del Rioans were recently arrested and each charged with assaulting their own mother, in unrelated incidents occurring in Del Rio on July 7.

A San Antonio man speeding through Del Rio and trying to flee from law enforcement officials was recently arrested and charged with reckless driving, a Class B misdemeanor. Jose Ignacio G. Solis, 29, who has his place of residence listed at the 200 block of Ranch Valley Drive, in San Antonio, was arrested on June 25.
