Maverick County drenched by 17 inches of rain

Hundreds of families in Eagle Pass were evacuated Friday and Saturday due to heavy flooding in Maverick County. 

The county received 17 inches of rain in a 24-hour period, said Jesus Rodriguez Fire Chief and Emergency Manager of Eagle Pass.
