Con la asistencia de miembros de los clubes rotarios de la región, el pasado 17 de junio se celebró la ceremonia de presentación del acta constitutiva al Club Rotario Empresarial de Ciudad Acuña, de nueva creación, en el Restaurante Manuel’s de Ciudad Acuña.

Presente en el evento estuvo el Gobernador del Distrito 4110 Felipe Meza, quien tomó protesta a Juan García como presidente del nuevo club, así como a toda su mesa directiva, además de celebrar la coronación de la primera reina del club, Mariana García y la princesa Mariela García.

Directivos de clubes de Piedras Negras y Del Río también estuvieron presentes, incluyendo la Presidenta del Club Rotario de Del Río Cynthia de Luna, Presidenta Electa Angela Prather, y Gobernadora Asistente del Distrito 5840 del Sur de Texas Gloria Wilson.

New Rotary Club in Ciudad Acuña

Rotary Club members from around the region attended on June 17 to the presentation of the charter of the newly created Club Rotario Empresarial de Ciudad Acuña, held at the Manuel’s restaurant in Ciudad Acuña.

Keynote speaker was District Governor 4110 Felipe Meza, who swore in Juan Garcia as president of the club, as well as the first board of directors. The club also celebrated the crowning of its first queen, Mariana García, and Princess Mariela García.

Directors from Piedras Negras and Del Rio clubs were also present, including Rotary Club of Del Rio President Cynthia de Luna, President-Elect Angela Prather, and South Texas District 5840 Assistant Governor Gloria Wilson.
