The SanAntunes, a band who defines its style as a mix of popular dance music, will be entertaining the community of Del Rio tonight at Brown Plaza.

Noches Musicales continues on today with a popular band from San Antonio.

The Fourth of July festivities finished, but the party mood will continue at the Casa de la Cultura with their ongoing concert series, Noches Musicales.

The SanAntunes will be performing at the Brown Plaza as part of the ongoing 14th year of the Noches Musicales series.

People can look forward to the band’s performance at 8:30 p.m.

According to band’s biography page, “The SanAntunes’ mix of popular dance music sets the tone of any event and helps create a solid foundation of energy, enthusiasm and most importantly, an unstoppable urge to get on the dance floor.”

The band performs a mixture of popular pop, dance and R&B songs that are contemporary hits to classics from the 1970s and 1980s, including Tejano and Americana music.

“’Cuz, in Texas, you can’t have a band unless you have an accordion in,” according to the SanAntunes biography page.

Some songs attendees can look forward to from the SanAntunes’ list, include Suavemente by Elvis Crespo, Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars and many more hits.

Entry to the concert is free to the public and is a family friendly event. Food vendors will be on site.

Attendees are encouraged to take their own portable chairs, in order to sit down during the performance.
