Pre-sale tickets for Friday’s Del Rio Rams football game against San Antonio Harlan begin Tuesday and continue through Friday. Tickets at Guys Gym at Del Rio High are $6 for general admission, $3 for students. Tickets will be available at the high school and Del Rio Freshmen and Middle School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day and 9 a.m. to noon on Friday at the freshmen and middle school campuses. All tickets at the gate will be $8.
HEALTH CARE WORKSHOP
A health care planning workshop for veterans and their families or caregivers will be held Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the VFW, 1307 E. 1st St. The workshop will include a review of the VA Advance Directive form and help you explore who would be an appropriate health care agent and how to be sure your wishes are known. CREEK CLEAN UP
The Casa de la Cultura and Texas Parks and Wildlife-Devils River are teaming up once again for our Creek Clean up. Meet up at the Casa de la Cultura and we can split up in groups from there. Make sure to bring gloves, bags or any tools that can help you grab trash better. Our parks seem clean but our goal is to go into the creek and clear up the bags, cans, plastic, shopping carts and any random items that should not be in our water. Meet up time is 9 a.m.

Val Verde Regional Medical Center is offering a FREE, Spanish language Diabetes Self-Management Course. There are 6 consecutive evenings of class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at VVRMC, 801 N. TITLE I PARENT MEETING
The Del Rio High School’s Annual Title I Parent Meeting will be Thursday, September 27, from 5:30 - 6 p.m. and Friday, September 28, from 9 – 10 a.m. in Room #611. The Title I Program, Title I Funds, as well as Parental Involvement Requirements will be discussed.
The Boys and GirlsClub of Del Rio will hold registration for its volleyball league until Sept. 28, from 2 to 6 p.m. each day, at the Boys and Girls Club. The league is for girls ages 7 to 12. Fee is $50, payable by chasier’s check or money order only. A copy of the child’s birth certificate is required. Coaches are also needed for the league.
