All pedestrian and vehicular traffic at the Del Rio International Bridge will be temporarily halted today from 7:10 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. due to the ceremony to commemorate the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. CBP encourages the traveling public to make any and all necessary arrangements to cross prior to 7 a.m. if they are planning to utilize the Del Rio International Bridge that morning.

Last Chance Forever, presented by The Bird of Prey Conservancy, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Dr. Alfredo Gutierrez Jr. Amphitheater, 1105 W. CREEK CLEAN UP
The Casa de la Cultura and Texas Parks and Wildlife- Devils River are teaming up once again for our Creek Clean up. Meet up at the Casa de la Cultura and we can split up in groups from there. Make sure to bring gloves, bags or any tools that can help you grab trash better. Our parks seem clean but our goal is to go into the creek and clear up the bags, cans, plastic, shopping carts and any random items that should not be in our water. Meet up time is 9 a.m.

Val Verde Regional Medical Center is offering a FREE, Spanish language Diabetes Self-Management Course. There are 6 consecutive evenings of class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at VVRMC, 801 N.
