The Del Rio Rams Football program presents the annual Camp 1 Hundred Monday through Thursday, 8 to 11 a.m. each day at Walter Levermann Ram Stadium. $30 registration fee. This is for youth in grades 2 to 9.
SWTJC YOUTH STEM CAMPS
Southwest Texas Junior College is hosting free Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Youth camps in Uvalde, Crystal City, Eagle Pass, and Del Rio during July. Interested youth from the surrounding communities are invited to participate and engage in hands-on STEM activities. Youth camps for ages 12 to 14 will be held in Del Rio on August 1 and 2. All camps will be held on the SWTJC campuses. Space is limited, and interested participants are encouraged to apply early at https://library.swtjc.edu/stem.
TACOS WITH THE VATOS
Hosted by the Casa de la Cultura, the goal of the program is to share experiences in a safe environment and discuss positive approaches to everyday life. This month our focus topic will be Fatherhood. This is a men’s support group, participants will not receive therapy, counseling or legal advice. The first meeting will take place Wednesday at the Casa’s annex building, 716 W. Garza St., from 6-7 p.m. Dinner is on us — TACOS!!

The Del Rio Rams football coaches will hold a parents meeting Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Del Rio High School cafeteria. All parents and players in the program are encouraged to attend.

The Del Rio Main Street Program presents Market at the Museum Saturday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 6 p.m., at the Whitehead Memorial Museum, 1308 S. Main St. Free admission. There will be plenty of vendors for all kinds of interested shoppers. All proceeds benefit the Del Rio Main Street Program.
